Ingredients

Instructions
 

Activate the Yeast:

Prepare the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, semolina flour, salt, and black pepper.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vegetable oil.

Combine Ingredients:

  • Pour the yeast mixture and the egg mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Fold in the shredded Cheddar cheese and minced jalapeño peppers.

Knead the Dough:

  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

First Rise:

  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Shape the Loaf:

Second Rise:
