Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

Mix Wet Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. You can do this by hand with a spatula or use an electric mixer for quicker results. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients:

Add Chocolate Chips and M&Ms:

  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and M&M’s using a spatula or spoon. You want them evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Shape the Cookies:

  • Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Leave some space (about 2 inches) between each cookie to allow for spreading while baking.

Bake:

  • Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown but the centers are still slightly soft.

Cool:
