- 1 1/4 cups 250g granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup 100g packed brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cups 300ml whole milk
- 1/2 cup 120ml vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups 160g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
For the Chocolate Frosting:
- 1 1/2 cups 340g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup 60ml whole milk, room temperature
- 3/4 cup 63g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups 360g powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt or to taste
Mix Wet Ingredients:
