  • Martini glass (chilled)
  • Small plate (for caramel bits)

  • 1 tbsp caramel syrup
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz butterscotch schnapps
  • 1 oz apple cider fresh is recommended
  • Ice cubes
  • Caramel bits for garnish

Instructions

  • If desired, rim your martini glass with caramel syrup by dipping the rim in syrup and then into a plate of caramel bits for extra sweetness and crunch.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, butterscotch schnapps, apple cider, and caramel syrup. Fill the shaker with ice cubes to chill the mixture.
  • Secure the lid of the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the ingredients are well combined and chilled.

Notes

❖ Apple Cider Tip: If you can’t find fresh apple cider, you can use apple juice as a substitute. Just keep in mind that apple cider tends to have a more robust flavor, making it the better choice for this recipe.
Garnish Ideas: For a beautiful presentation, you can garnish your martini with a thin apple slice or even a drizzle of caramel sauce. I love the visual appeal it adds to the drink and how it enhances the caramel flavor.
Adjusting Sweetness: If you prefer your martini less sweet, you can reduce the amount of caramel syrup. I find that 1 tbsp is just the right amount to balance the tartness of the apple cider and the richness of the vodka.
