Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 large can 29 ounces tomato puree
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 5 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 3 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
 

Combine Wet Ingredients:

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together the ketchup, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and vinegar.

Add Dry Ingredients:

  • Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, kosher salt, and chili powder.

Incorporate Tomato Products:

  • Add the tomato puree and tomato paste into the saucepan, and mix thoroughly to combine. Gradually stir in the water until the consistency is smooth.

Sweeten and Season:

  • Add the corn syrup, additional paprika, and pepper, adjusting to your taste. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Simmer and Thicken:

  • Let the sauce simmer for about 20–30 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.

Cool and Store:

  • Remove the sauce from heat and allow it to cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
