For the Cake:
- 4 ripe bananas mashed
- 2 cups 400 g light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups 355 ml oil or melted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups 360 g all-purpose flour
- 1 cup 100 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup 240 g sour cream, room temperature
For the Chocolate Ganache Frosting:
- 600 g 3 cups dark chocolate (58% couverture chocolate)
- 1/2 cup 120 ml milk
- 600 g 2 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Combine Wet Ingredients:
